Socket garantee?

P: n/a
Hi,

If the socket has to send heavy amount of data to a client, lets say,
1000 data message per second or more, is it possible for it to exceed
its own buffer (if it has one)? Can the socket loose data and not send
it to the client?

Regards
Marty
