Crystal reports fail

When the user print a report from the crystal reports preview, the report
it's full of strange characters but if we export it to word or pdf and then
we print it, we can read it fine. The font I'm using in the report is Times
new roman.

Why?
Thank you

Alberto,

Just my guess, but you need to go into the configuration of your pdf reader
and click a setting. I had a similar problem about a year ago and solved it
after re-configuring pdf.

Sorry Alberto. I see that. I'm not sure how I missed it. Maybe someone
else will reply with an answer for you.

Alberto,

I am having the same problem, but only on certain printers. It
previews fine, but prints random garbage characters. I am using
Crystal Reports 10 RDC with Times New Roman font. On some printers,
there is an option to "send fonts as images" (wording differs for
every printer). This fixes the problem, but there are some printers
without this option...

Any ideas?
