Crystal Reports: Error: Fail to render the page

Hi All,

We have recently migrated our intranet website from Windows
2000,IIS5.0 to Windows 2003, IIS 6.0. It is developed in ASP.NET

We have give a new IP address for this website and we are able to
access it. But we are having problems with Crystal reports display.
When we try to access the reports it gives the following error message
Error:Fail to render the page.

When we contacted the Crystal support they said we need to have full
permissions for viewers directory under crystalreporst for aspnet_wp
user id. I did that but till I get the same error.

Am I missing some thing while configuration on II6.0? Any pointers
would be of great help.

I have a transaction log file where the DataSet table's Description column is actually delimited into "subcolumns" based upon the transaction id. I would like to parse these into separate fields for reporting purposes and am wondering if anyone knows if this is easily accomplished using the .NET version of Crystal Reports? For example, the description column may be reporting on a dataentry error as follows: TXNCODE: 1010001

I posted this question on the Crystal Reports Support site and I am still waiting for an answer. Using Crystal Reports 9.0 Developer Full edition: My Crystal report .RPT file has a Picture box which is an OLE Object located in the Page Header section of my .RPT file. This is the call which works perfectly in VB6 to format the crystal reports Page Header section of my report file EquipLst.rpt.

Hi, Looking at reporting tools and was wondering if anyone else has gone thru this. Crystal seems rediculously expensive once you take into account licensing, while Active is runtime-free meaning only developer licenses. On a cost only basis, it seems pretty obvious but what about feature wise. I simply do not have enough time to do a drawn-out analysis and was wondering if anyone else had. Regards

We need to decide on the architecture for the reporting system using .net 2.0 (C#) There are 2 options for the arechitecture. The first one involves using crystal enterprise server that would host all the reports, and render it to the webserver upon requests. This uses the crystal enterprise object class model (reportInfo objects) The second option involves using the web server to host and render

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers.
