read xml with dataset

Tee
Hi,

I'm using a dataset to read an xml file.

But I wonder can I directly get the xml data from the dataset ? or I
actually need to use datarow?

thanks.

It is for me not clear what you mean,

However this is a representation from the first item in the first row in the
first table of a dataset

ds.tables(0).rows(0).item(0)

On every part from the dataset you can get its reference.
So in the case of
dim dr as datarow = ds.tables(0).rows(0)
you can say than
dim a as string = dr(0).tostring
or
dim a as string = ds.tables(0).rows(0)(0).tostring
What gives exactly the same result.

I hope this helps?

you can write it out again using the xmlWrite method or you can access it
via DataTable/Rows etc
