VB.NET sharpziplib question

I know this may not be the place for this question, but didn't know where to
ask it.

Does anyone know what characters are invalid as filenames for zipentries in
SharpZipLib?

I am zipping files that use a character that looks like a "." but centered
vertically.

This causes problems upon trying to unzip and shows ? where that char was.

I was using that char to separate MM DD YYYY which is part of the filename.

So are you only allowed to use the keys available on the keyboard?

Thanks,

Shane

Thanks,

I just decided to not use char · and instead use a simple single quote

time would have looked better as 14·53·26 instead of 14'53'26, but it will
have to do. Winzip also had a problem with the other chars.

Thanks,

Shane
