Date problem.
Using non American date formats with Microsoft Access and Visual Basic.
I set my regional settings to English(Ireland) or English(United Kingdom)
and my date appears in Access as DD/MM/YYYY.
However if the day is less than 12 the day then becomes the month
e.g. 3 July 2003 is displayed in Visual Basic as 7 March 2003.
So if I have two records with different dates as such 6/8/03 and 15/8/03
the first date is 8 June 2003...

I'm having a horrible time simply inserting the date in a MySQL
database through a Visual Basic program. I have a table, called
"ORDERS"; "ID" is the primary key. I'm trying the insert the date,
into the MySQL database, which is a DATETIME datatype. I must keep it

i have form in Asp.net(2003) in that i've to change the format of the date by the following statement
Format(Date.Today, "dd/mm/yyyy")
but when i give this code the month part displays as 00 i.e i get the output as the folowing for eg:
"18/00/2007" can any one help me in changing the format...

I am experiencing a strange thing happening with a "designer.vb" page. Controls I manually declare in this page are automatically deleted after I drop another control on a ".aspx" page.
- Why is this happening?
- Can I disable automatic declaration and have everything be declared manually?
- Any other options to fix this?

I need to run a SQL statement in Microsoft VB.
The following statement returns an error "Compile Error: Expected: end of statement". yyyy was highlighted when the error was encountered.
I believe that there are something wrong with my syntax. It could be the quotes (") that I have used to enclose the date format.
