I'm working with VS.NET 2003 and .NET 1.1 (not SP1) on Windows XP SP1. My
application is using the Windows Installer Bootstrap. (I may have also

I have a bunch of .dll "drivers" that are built to a common directory. Is
there a way to add all of the files in that directory to a setup project's
file system. Basically I would like to be able to add new "drivers" without
modifying the setup file. Are there Post Build Event variables for the
setup project's "Application folder"?

Hi All,
I've created in my Setup deployment project under "User Interfaces" a
new Checkboxes (A) dialog screen. The users have to pick between two
possible projects to install. It works great but I want to make sure
the user checks at least ONE of the checkboxes otherwise the
installation is cancelled or an uninstall is done.
Any ideas?

Hey all,
I have a setup / deployment project that is used to create builds for my web
project. I can very easily invoke this manually, in the IDE, to get the
packaged MSI file.
However, I would like to be able to invoke the packaging of this MSI file
from the command line, so that I can embed it in a script.
Anyone know what this command line statement would be?

I have set the File Types properties in my Deployment project in Visual Studio .NET 2003. It works correctly, almost. When I right click on the file type, it offers my application as the default 'OPEN'. But if the user clicks on 'Open With..' my application is first, but has no name in the list. I see my icon, but not the application name.
Has anyone else encountered this?

I need to read some word file from my c++ project through user interface.
I'm using dev C++ and FLTK GUI tool kit.
If any of you have an idea how to read/execute word file from c++ project, please let me know.
Or if you can recommend some tools/functions that can read the word file, it would also be helpful.
