Hello,
Does anyone know how to open an application from a
windows service??
For example, I have a windows service running and using a
timer or something else I want to open Windows Calculator!
I used:
Shell("calc", AppWinStyle.NormalFocus)
and
Process.Start("calc")

When I open an existing ASP.NET application developed by another machine, it
has the following error messages: I am sure .NET framework is installed and
have the same version as another machine.
Visual Studio .NET cannot create or open the application. The likeliest
problem is that required components are not installed on the local web
server. run visual studio.net setup and add the web development componet.

Whenever I try to create a new ASP Web Page I get this message :
"Visual Studio cannot create or open the application because the Web server
on this computer is not running. Start the Web server before proceeding."
Well, looking at my services I find that both WWW Publishing Services and
IIS are started.
I also successfully restarted both of them, but still keep getting the error
message.

Hi,
I have already have VS 2005 and yesterday I have installed VS 2003 Enterprise Developer. The installation were successfull. But when I open VS 2003 and try to create a new asp.net application its saying "Visual studio .net cannot create or open the application. Web site 'http://localhost/webapplication1' not started on this web server" error.
Any idea what would be the problem ?

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
