Hi,
I found this code to send print direct to printer. It works perfect.
Imports System
Imports System.Text
Imports System.Runtime.InteropServices
<StructLayout(LayoutKind.Sequential)> _
Public Structure DOCINFO<MarshalAs(UnmanagedType.LPWStr)>
Public pDocName As String<MarshalAs(UnmanagedType.LPWStr)>

My program right now generates USPS style shipping label using
System.Drawing.Graphics. It works fine except that the printer prints really
slowly. I want to make my program take advantage of true type fonts. So I
assume it's possible to send Font Type and the text to the printer, and the
printer should digest and print faster. Still, barcode info needs to be sent
as an image.
When I print fifty copies of the same label it prints really...

I C# code prints very slow as compared to a third party barcode printing
software. That software prints approximately 10 labels in 2 seconds while my
C# code prints 10 labels in 5 to 6 seconds. And this differences increases
with the increase number of labels.
The code is as follwods:
Here rdr = OleDbDataReader
Font is Times New Roman, 12pt

I have an asp.net application which loads a Crystal Reports
ReportDocument, passes in parameters for selecting data from the
report's database connection, renders the report for previewing on the
client then allows the user to print the report on a networked printer.
To avoid having to launch an external application on the client I use a
server-side print method. When I call ReportDocument.PrintToPrinter the
report comes out fine but the...

printer is shared in path like \\MyServer\Intermec
I have text-file containing barcode script in file barcode.txt, and I can
print it using DOS-window from XP like ...
copy barcode.txt \\MyServer\Intermec ... and it's working fine.

Hi,
I'm trying to print barcodes to the Dymo LabelWriter printer. Put everytime
I send a job to the label printer it just outputs an empty label. If I change
the default printer back to the standard printer(HP LaserJet), it prints
fine. Has anyone worked with Label printers like this. Here is the code I'm
using:
Private Sub cmdPrint_Click(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As
System.EventArgs) Handles cmdPrint.Click

Hi everyone!
Does anyone know how can I do barcode printing?
First of all, I know I have to write a client executable,
but how do I communicate with the thermal printer?
Using software the company I work for needs to buy like Seagull Bartender,
or some other label printing software or can I get access to the printer
directly?

Hi,
I am trying to write a page that creates some barcodes using the PEAR
Image_Barcode module. I am getting one barcode to write just fine
but it will not print out any more than one and will not print any
text on the page.
What I would like is to pass in the information to be barcoded, and a
category for each barcode, then have a page displayed that groups the
barcodes by category.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
