Basically, how do I know that the release versions of all components are
being published?
The Build | Configuration Manager is confusing me a little in VS2005.
I have three projects in my solution:
1) web service website.
2) SOAP Extension Class Lib that compiles to a dll
3) WinForm application with a proxy to test the web service.

I have C# 2005 Express installed on a PC that is unconnected to the internet;
therefore the copy is unregistered.
I cannot see the Publish option under the Build menu option.
Is this a penalty for not registering?
Or is it that C# is not correctly installed?
Any insights? Thanks.

I've created a small app which uses an access database.
When I click Build Publish and choose publish to file eg. CD / DVD it
creates a setup file (installer) which for some reason puts the executable
in the start menu (not a shortcut) when run and doesn't deploy the database
file even though it is part of the project.
What am I doing wrong? The few options given by the publish wizard only
choose publish file location etc. and don't make...

I've developed a website with which users can update XML files in it's App_Data directory. Currently
when I want to update the live site I have to take a copy of the app_Data directory on the server
and reinstate it after publishing the new content. does anyone have any suggestions for the most
effective way to automate this?
TIA

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
