hide contextmenustri p on listview

Hello,

I have attached a contextmenustri p in the designer to a listview.

When running, if there is no item in my listview, the contextmenu still
shows.

How can I hide it when no item is selected in the listview (when right click
is done)?

thx.

Is it possible to hide specific rows in a listview? I currently have a listview in details view and the user can select multiple views which shows the listview items matching the selected criteria. I currently populate the listview from a List<> each time the view is changed, but was curious if it would be possible to just hide rows which do not match the criteria. Any help would be appreciated. Chris

I have a context menu strip. I can Add elements to its "Items", but there is nothing in there to add a sub context menu strip. Menu Item 1 Item 2 Sub Item 1 <-- impossible to add! How do I achieve that? There seems no API's to do that and the internet is simply "empty" when it comes to that. All newsgroups questions are

Hi, I'm attaching a ContextMenuStrip to a listview. Debugging shows the menu is healthy with one item in it and that it's referred to by the "listview.ContextMenuStrip". However, right clicking the list view or elements doesn't bring up the menu. Any ideas? Thanks, Ron

I have contextMenuStrip that needs to be shown when my listview item is right-cliked.. I've set the contextMenuStrip property of listview to a contextMenuStrip that I created and when I run the program, right click gives me nothing, though same thing applied to treeView nodes works fine! Do I have to write the right click event myself or something is wrong? thanx

I've been working on an app which has an array of RichTextBoxes. And I have a context menu for the RTBs. The context menu has two levels; the first level has two items, "Load Sample Text File" and "Insert Row >"; the "Insert Row >" item on the first level invokes, if that's the right word, a second level which has two items, "Above" and "Below". This all worked when it was a ContextMenu. But I am trying to change it to use the new menu...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
