I have a page that takes a comma delimited string and needs to bind to a
Repeater control. The string is split into an Array, and each value is put
into a DataBase query via a For Each loop. The purpose is to retrieve
address information for the user. Sometimes, the address_fk field in the
people table is null, so there will be no linking address information. In
this case, the section to be displayed asks if the user would like to create...

I'm looking for that elusive .net time saving magic.
I have an application that presents a list of items which the user can
select from. A CheckBoxList works great for that, but I want to query
a database based on their selections.
I'm forced to dynamically building a SQL statement in a method I could
have done easily in classic ASP:
SELECT fields FROM tablename WHERE ID IN (value1,value2....)

I am re-writing an access application using vb.net and oracle. Access
has a drop down list that shows value 'a'. When selecting the pulldown
list, it shows
'a' | 'b' | 'c'
after selecting the row u want, it goes back to showing 'a'.
I can't get that functionality to work. I can concat the fields in my
sql statement to get the 'a' | 'b' | 'c' or I can get just 'a'. Can't
get both like it is done in access.

the values are "'Val1','val2','val3','val4'" in the below loop
In the above situation four datasource needs to be bind in the grid. I know
the below is binding the last value's (Val4) datasource in the DataGrid

I'm having a problem with Crystal report.net with ASP.NET.
The problem occurs when exporting the report. The report
uses a discrete parameter with multiple values. When the
report is loaded into the crystal report view it shows all
the values from the discrete parameter. But when I export the
report it only shows the values from the last discrete parameter value
enter.
My code is listed below:

Hello,
I have a content page that is from a Master page which has 2 content panes.
How do I add my forms to the content page? Each pane needs a form but you
can not have multiple form tags nor can the form tages be outside of the
content tags?
Does this make since? Below is my source to the pages. Basically I need
both content tags to have form tags.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
