So you have this problem, and you decide to use threads to solve it...
System is Python 2.3.3 on Solaris 9.
I'm using the classic Python thread model. Main thread puts stuff into
a Queue.Queue() and worker threads get stuff out of it and do their thing.
On occaision, I get an exception in the main thread when it tries to
put something into the Queue.

I’m writing a thread wrapper for a safe thread termination by using stop event.
Whenever the thread stop event is signaled, I want to release the thread in
case it’s blocked on Monitor.Enter() or Monitor.Wait().
Note that when I’m writing this code, I do not know on what object the
Monitor will block on.
Is there a way to release the thread from the Monitor blocking except using
Thread.Interrupt() (Any kind of wrapping is acceptable)...

I'm reading an XML file on our web server using a DataSet. I then bind it
to a DataGrid. What's the proper method of releasing the lock on the file?
DataSet ds = new DataSet();

dg.DataSource = ds;

Hi
I'm faced with a very pesky problem. I have a managed assembly done in
C++/CLI which interface to native C++ codes, and a C# app which consumes
this assembly. I realize that when both the app adn assembly are in
release mode, running in the VS IDE by pressing F5 with the active
config set to release, it was able to work flawlessly. However, running
the app and assembly on its own, will crash it. Debug mode however works
both ways...

I have several processes accessing files from one folder, but only
one process should ever access each file. Once one process has the
file, no other process should be allowed to access it, even after the
first process is finished with it, except in the case where the first
process crashes. In pseudo code..
* Open file with exclusive lock

How can I best play several mp3 files one immediately after the other?
Will this tie up the AxWindowsMediaPlayer1 instance such that I can't use
the instance again until the files finish playing or can I break out of this
"playlist" early?

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
