I have a number of text boxes on a number of forms and I cannot get the
scroll bars to display. The text boxes have the scrollbars property set to
vertical. I can use the cursor keys to scroll up and down but I cannot get
the scroll bars to display.
Has anyone seen this before and is there a fix.

Hi, I'm not sure the best way to do something and I hope someone can
help me. I'm developing a web application that a user enters test
questions in. I store the questions in a database. When a person takes
the test I need to be able to display the questions. I can use a
multiline text box but I want the user to see the entire question and
not have to use the scroll bars. I also don't want the scroll bars
visible if they are not used.

On my webform I have a textbox. When the page loads I put some text in the textbox. The text is 2 sentences and all I want to do is to put the sentences on different lines.
It use to be so simple:
textbox1.text = "Sentence1." & vbCrLf & "Sentence2."
The above doesn't seem to work the sentences are on the same line.
Please help with this simple thing.....

Hi, just new to VB.Net.
I've got a rich text box with scroll bars set to ForcedBoth, andam using the VSCROLL event. Trouble is, it doesn't seem to firewhen I scroll by dragging the sliderbar, only when I click thearrows at either end or navigate through the text with the pageup/down or arrow keys. Any thoughts?

hi,
my app has two parallel rich text boxes containing the same content in 2
different languages. the lines parallel each other, line #3 in english
contains the same content as line #3 in french.
i need the two boxes to syncronize, if someone scrolls and clicks on line 23
in the english side, it should scroll to line 23 in the french side, and the
same from french to english.

I have a TableLayout that I'm having problems with. I am placing controls in
it that have scroll bars. When I put enough of them on the control to make
the TableLayout's scroll bars appear the scroll bars for the TableLayout
cover up my scroll bars for the child controls. When I resize the form it
fixes and the child controls are in the appropriate places. This also occurs
when the form is maximized and I restore down.

Hi I am making a chat program. When wsk_receiver gets data, it adds it to a new line on rich_history to make a sort of history for the chat. However, when the rich box is filled up even with scroll bars, it doesn't keep following what was last added. How can i make it scroll down when text is added?

Does anyone know how to create a Rich Text HTML editor where the text
editing area grows vertically as you type? If not a RTE then just a normal
ASP.NET Multi-Line Text Box that expands vertically and the user types. My
