problem installing vb2005 app from pubish.htm

Hello,

I created a real simple "hello world!" app in vb2005. I also created a
setup app for this app, and it installed on my workstation no problem. Then
I uninstalled the app, and instead published it to my webserver on a win2003
server using the publisher wizard. The publishing went OK, and publish.htm
came up. I click on the Install button, I get the connecting dialog window,
then I get a message that says publisher is unknown do you want to install?
I click yes. Then I get an error message that it could not install the app -
that it couldn't find the files or files were missing. But all the files are
in the webdirectory when I look. Is this a certificate/security issue? Is
there something I need to do in IIS or my virtual directory? Any suggestions
appreciated.

Thanks,
Rich

I need to access it to...

When we go to start up the project from within the VS environment there are several build errors relating to an inability to find the...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...
