i need to develop a SOAP client, Since I have never personally done one I
would like to make sure that I am going about it correctly.
The client is a Windows (probably 2k3) application that communicates over
HTTPS SOAP. The remote server is Unix based and implements Axis, which I
know nothing about
What are the steps I need to create this client? I will be developing in C#
and I have the XML schema of the SOAP messages.
How do I get...

Hi im having a few problems consuming a SOAP::Lite web service.
I think the problem is actually with the WSDL but im not sure.
I have a SOAP::Lite client which works ok using the WSDL (which i defined by hand).
The .NET client on the other hand does not work at all and i get this error when i send the request.
Failed to access class (2001::XMLSchema): syntax error at (eval 91) line 1, near "require 2001"

times slower than binary object request protocols such as RMI, IIOP or

Is this also YOUR experience ?

I hadn't had a class yet and I had some MS help on this to set up, but I
wrote a .Net WS that creates a proxy class response using SOAP. Works fine.
And in kind of a good way, the IDE has hidden the SOAP implementation so from
my end I'm just creating, passing back my XML proxy class.
The client side consumer of WS has for 1) text file containing entire SOAP
response and recently 2) average size of response in bytes to iclude SOAP...

Hi,
I have a gSoap Web Service written using C++, it uses SOAP username and
password authentication.
I also have a C# form client consuming the web service, all this was working
fine until I added the authentication on the server, now I can not get the
client to authenticate. Can someone tell me how to add authentication info
to the SOAP message posted from the C# SOAP client.

Hello,
I am receiving this error when trying to instantiate a webservice component.
I have 2 development machines, both are XP sp2 with VS 2008 installed. On
one machine, the code works fine. On the other machine I get the error upon
instantiating the service client. I add the reference by choosing Add
Service Reference from the project menu, and pointing to the remote wsdl
file. I can't seem to find what the difference between the two...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
