I'm using several DataTables in my program which are updated periodically.
At the same I have those tables bound to DataGrids in my GUI. So far I've
been doing all the processing in the same program and the speed of the
processing prevented any issues when it comes to updating the GUI elements

I am new to .NET. I need great explanation for "the updation in the disconnected data". How it is handled. That is, if mutiple user is interacting with the data, one will delete another will insert or update. So after the modifications how the correct updation is made in the database table. In Internet Explorer (I use 6.0 ), there is a check box to enable/disable automatic configuration script. Is there any way to check /uncheck this option using Win API ( that can be implemented in VB 6.0 ) ? Or can this be done with registry updation ( from VB) ?
To select this option,
IE -> Tools -> Internet options -> connections tab -> Click "LAN settings" -> "Use automatic configuration script".
