My application contains several Classes & Forms .
From the Login form I will get the User ID and Password for the
SqlConnection.
I established the connection through another class and I can get it in the
Login form.
In another form , say Employee form , I want to save the Employee details
to the Employee table. But when I tried to use connection which is already
opened I couldn't get it.

Hi there,
I have some inherited forms that I wish to make "localizable",
unfortunately none of the items I wish to be "localizable" are actually
being "localized". For example, I have a few of properties which set the
text of some labels on the form which are inherited from the base form,
these text values aren't "localized" Has anyone any ideas where I'm going
wrong?
Nick.

I have an app that was originally 1.1, now migrated to 2.0 and have run into
some sporadic viewstate errors...usually saying the viewstate is invalid,
eventvalidation failed or mac error.
My web config does specify a machinekey setting:

Hello all,
I have a ASP.NET website written using VS 2003. I am in the process of
migrating it up to 2005.
There is one problem I just can't seem to solve.
In my original VS 2003 project I had a few icons and bitmaps included in the
project with their build action set as "Embedded Resource". Through code I
generated some bitmaps using these items for the user to see. Nothing

I have been researching for several hours on the best way to display
images in continous forms in Access 2003. For example, I want to
display employee name, email, phone, and picture for each record in
the recordset. I can have the pictures converted to any usable
format, use OLE or linking, whatever needs to be done.
So far, the 3 possible solutions I have found are:
1) OLE objects - if you don't have bitmaps associated just...

guys,
I have a project need to move more than 100,000 records from one
database table to another database table every week. Currently, users
input date range from web UI, my store procedure will take those date
ranges to INSERT records to a table in another database, then delete
the records, but it will take really long time to finish this action
(up to 1 or 2 hours).
My question is if there is some other way I should do to speed up...

I want to fill an ImageList with bitmaps for a ListView from another
thread, because it's a time-consuming process. I expect the
ListViewItems' images to "load" one by one, as in a Web browser.
I wrote the following code, but the form freezes up while
CreateTileBitmaps is running, just as if I'd done it on the main
thread. How can I add items to the ImageList without this problem?
(Note: I do *not* want to use an owner-draw ListView and...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...
