Treeview - scrolls to bottom during CollapseAll / ExpandAll

I have a Windows Form application using a TreeView. I added buttons to
automatically expand or collapse all rows up or down a level when pressed,
and wrap all instructions in BeginUpdate / EndUpdate. However, during the
operation, the scroll bar goes to the bottom and is continually updated
(changes size) until it is done.

I would like the entire TreeView display to remain unchanged during
processing, and to remain in the same approximate scrolling location as
before when complete. Any ideas? I tried disabling/enabling and turning
scrolling off/on, but neither worked.

Thanks in advance........ ..

Tim

In asp.net 1.1, the IE treeview web control has a property called "SelectExpands" that, when set to true, expands a node when a user clicks the node text. I can't seem to replicate this in the treeview control in .net 2.0. Anyone know of way to expand a node when a users clicks the node text?

I have a treeview control on a windows form that I want to populate in the form's load event. The problem is that the datatable I am using to populate it contains >20,000 records, and it takes > 1 min to load the form. How can I populate it partially during load and then complete it when the user needs the complete set (i.e. when the user scrolls down)?

I've got two treeviews side by side on a panel on a form. They each have about 20 nodes in them. The treeview on the right has a vertical scrollbar. The treeview on the left needs a vertical scrollbar but does not have one. I have tried TreeView.Scrollable = True and calling ExpandAll() before the tree view is displayed with no success. I have checked the value of .Scrollable at runtime and it is true. If I select a node in the...

I am working on a small project that uses the treeview control in .net 2003. I have a tree view that I am sending to a sub in order to iterate through the nodes. Public Sub test (ByVal inTreeView as Tree View) But, the thing I want to do with the inTreeView requires me to expand all the nodes before I iterate. The problem is that when the sub is complete, the original tree view on my form ends up with all of the nodes expanded I had...

I have a TreeView control that I am populating with a lot of data. I have been asked to expand the nodes so management can quickly access the individual elements. This is easy to do with TreeView1.ExpandAll(); however, the TreeView control scrolls the last part of the data into focus. How do I either prevent this scrolling or reset the TreeView control's view?

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
