Button column in winform datagrid really that hard?

Hi,

I'm having a nightmare finding any code examples that show how to add a
buttoncolumn into a datagrid for a win form programatically . The only
examples I can find are for asp / webforms or are limited free trials
from software houses offering their own custom datagrid styles. The
closest I have got is using Leadits extended datagrid and trying to
create my own usercontrol but this seems to above my level of
programming.

Does anyone have any example code showing how I could achieve this
please?

Thanks for any help,
Mike

After I made a nice application with WINFORM I tried to apply much of the same code, but there are lost of differences. I load the grid colors, column width, column header from a xml data file. But when I use datagrid.bind - it pulls in all the data to its own columns. Ex: gridTX.DataSource = ds.Tables; this.AttachXMLdrivenStyle(gridTX,mappTableName); gridTX.DataBind(); // my columns are not mapped over....but stand alone.

This is for a Win form, in C# 2005. I want to load a datagrid, make some columns width 0, and then clean out the record I added. I get the error message, ""Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection. Parameter name: index"" I have tried, -1,0,1,2 for the index, and I get the same error message on each try.

Hi group. I am a newbie to ASP.NET as you will see from some of the questions I may ask! I have a datagrid which I have populated from a database. It works great! I have added a column, via the Columns dialog box from the properties of the datagrid, on the left that contains a select button. So now, when you press the button the whole row is highlighted. Now, what I want to do is have the user highlight as many rows as they wish...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
