The following stored procedure is taking too long (in my opinion). The
problem seems to be the SUM line. When commented out the query takes a
second or two. When included the response time climbs to minute and a
half.
Is my code that inefficient or is SUM and ABS calls just that slow?
Any suggestions to spead this up?

After a trust with exchange server established the xp_SendMail
gives the following error:
xp_sendmail: failed with mail error 0x80070005
Prior to the trust everything worked fine.
I have tried the following:
1)Checking SQL and SQLAgents accounts all match up with default mail
profile.

I have had an OMA problem for a month now, and cannot figure it out. A
while back, can't rememeber a specific time, I was able to browse to my OMA
at the local host using http://127.0.0.1/oma - it was maybe a year ago that
I last saw it work. I remember thinking "cool feature, but don't need it"
and moving on. Now, a service pack later I cannot get it to work. (now I
need it) I am running exchange 2003 sp2 on server 2000 sp4. ...

I have a SQL query I need to design to select name and email addresses
for policies that are due and not renewed in a given time period. The
problem is, the database keeps the information for every renewal in
the history of the policyholder.
The information is in 2 tables, policy and customer, which share the
custid data. The polno changes with every renewal Renewals in 2004
would be D, 2005 S, and 2006 L. polexpdates for a given customer...

I just read that if you use an exchange server...the account that you
start SQL with needs a mail on the exchange box.
Is this true?
I know I didn't need an account when I've set it up before...but I
might have been using a POP3 server.
I have Outlook 2003 installed on the server. Windows 2003 Enterprise.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
