Hi, there.
Thanks for any help that can be offered. I've been working with Python for
a year or more now, but only doing simple extending in C/C++. I'm now
attempting some embedding and several questions have come to mind.
BTW - I'm running Windows 2000 with Python23 and VisualC++ developers

Hello,
How can I embed fonts in my web pages such that the pages have a uniform
appearance across all browsers (Netscape, IE & Opera), across all
platforms, IRIX, Win 2K, SP etc. whether or not the platform has the
font installed. I am using style sheets, which should help.
Thanks

Hello all,
When webfonts are used for purely cosmetic/ornemental reasons and on a
large scale, I don't agree.
When webfonts are used because Unicode support among browsers for a
particular language (like a Canadian Aboriginal language) is inexistent
(see
http://www.alanwood.net/unicode/unified_canadian_aboriginal_syllabics.html

I have an option group with about 30 options. I would like to have
the Option Labels get their text from a table. Is this possible, and
if so how?
Also, is it possible to embad a font into a database or does each
machine need to have that font installed?
Thanks for any help,
ShyGuy

Hi Everyone,
I am a beginner on cross language development. My problem at hand is to
build a python interface for a C++ application built on top of a 3D
game engine. The purpose of this python interface is providing a
convenient scripting toolkit for the application. One example is that
a user can write a python script like:
player = Player()
game.loadPlayer(player)
player.moveTo(location)

1. I've installed a bunch of fonts in main application, which is in native
C++ code using AddFontResourceEx
2. A C# application is launched from this main application, but failed to
enumerate those installed fonts.
My issue is that I don't want those fonts to be used outside of the main
application so that I've set the font characteristics as FR_PRIVATE. However,
I want the C# application be able to use those fonts. Although the C# app...

I would like to include a specific font. Rather than create images with
the font where and when I need it, I was hoping I could embed it.
I do realize it is optional and is up to the user to download (if and
when prompted to download) the font.
Are these the only methods, and are they the *best* method of embedding
a font?

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
