Hi
I am using the VS xsd designer to create a strongly typed dataset. The dataset is apparently successfully created, with no warnings or errors given. Is it not then to be expected that this dataset then should reflect all the details put into the xsd? Somewhere down the line there is not a 1:1 relationship. Be it that .NET is so tightly...

Hi,
I am using my code to set column widths of datagrid
columns dynamically, but when I am setting the column
widths to zero, the header text of the column whose width
is made to zero is appearing on the existing column
headers, and the text gets blurred with the painting of
the column text along with the adjacent width 0 column.
Anybody,...

I want to put a GDI type circle on top of my DataGrid (actually I want to put GDI colored border around the entire selected row, but if I can figure out how to put a circle on top of it I can do the border)
My main form uses a MyDataGrid. instance as the folowing code from MyDataGrid.cs

I have a requirement to put a GDI style circle or rectangle border around
the selected row of a datagrid/ It will overlap into the row above and below
the selected row. Doing this in a the OnPaint of a subclassed
DataGridTextBoxColum dos not seem like a practical way to do it.
I have subclassed a DataGrid and overridden the OnPaint as...

Hi. In order to successfully Edit a record in my datagrid I must first call
the " DataGrid1.EditItemIndex = e.Item.ItemIndex" command and THEN call the
SUB that binds my datagrid. If I only call "DataGrid1.EditItemIndex =
e.Item.ItemIndex" without subsequently binding my datagrid I get the
following error...

I successfully autosized the columns and rows on my Datagrid, and am
now facing another issue. Having the sorting ability by clicking the
column headers is key, but when I do that, it resizes all my rows back
to their defaults. I populate the datagrid, resize it accordingly and
it works fine...just when I click the headers is when it messes...

Please help - I have developed an excel spreadsheet that has Private Subs that run code based on combo box changes. The problem I am having is that when a user performs a "SAVE AS" the visual basic code is running for the entire form and slows down the save process. Is there any way to stop the code from running during the "Save As"?
Thanks!

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...

I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
