Hi,
Use trace instead of debug. Add a textwriterliste ner to the
trace listeners.

Dim fs As New System.IO.FileS tream("C:\Test. txt", IO.FileMode.App end)

Dim myTextListener As New TextWriterTrace Listener(fs)

Trace.Listeners .Add(myTextList ener)

Dim environmentVari ables As IDictionary =
Environment.Get EnvironmentVari ables()

Dim de As DictionaryEntry

For Each de In environmentVari ables

Trace.WriteLine (String.Format( " {0} = {1}", de.Key, de.Value))

Next de

Hi all, I use VC and gcc/gdb to compile and debug C/C++ files. But I found some of the debug version of the compiled files are too large to be run in a small RAM. Can I compile C/C++ Debug partially? Something like: fileA.c fileB.c And I can compile fileA.c with debug info and compile fileB.c without debug info?

Hello all - Preface: This isn't a C# Builder question but if you happen to have the answer to my primary problem, please feel free to chime in ;-) I'm using Borland's C# Builder (Personal) and it seems there isn't an Output window (where the Debug.WriteLine() info would go) like VS has. If there is, I can't find it. I would like to know if it is possible to write a class with the ability to call a console window that would display...

He is running windows 2k... What do i have to do in order to fix that?

When I set trace enable to true in my web.config file, the debug info does not display at the "bottom" of the page, it displays "under" all of my buttons, labels, grids etc. This behavior happens in GridLayout, or FlowLayout. ? Thanks, TPS.

Hi all, We are trying to debug an assembly which was built in debug configuration on our build server. The output window of visual studio indicates that no symbols are being loaded for the assembly. However, when the PDB file is copied alongside the dll, the symbols load ok. We were a little confused, because we had already been debugging this assembly WITHOUT copying the pdb file. What I discovered was that when the assembly is built...

I am having trouble getting debug and release builds to work properly with project references using C++ .NET and Visual Studio 2003. I created a test solution, with a basic Windows form C++ project. I then add a class library, and add a reference to this project in the first project. When I do a release build, I see the following in the output from the DLL compile: /OUT:"C:\Documents and Settings\Andrew\My Documents\Visual Studio

Hey, I have a sort of petty-neurotic question, I'm kinda pedantic and like to keep my log directories clean, and this thing is bothering me to the point of actually posting a question (couldn't find any post about this..). My application has two types of components: daemons and regular ones that are run every on crontab. Because the log structure is very similar, I want both to use the same logging configuration file.

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
