Hi,
has anybody thought of / already used graphviz to convert the output of
trace.py into a graph? I looked at PyUMLGraph, but 1. PyUMLGraph does
not successfully create a dot file, and 2. I don't really want a UML
representation but a compact representation of program execution.
Maybe there is some other tool that I am not aware of which can create
this kind of trace. I use eclipse with pydev plugin on MacOS 10.3.9

Hi,
The trace class seems to me to be very usefull however there are a few
features of it that have to confused.
I am using visual studio 2003.
the IDE will not let me write
trace.assert(..) or trace.writeLine(..) or trace.writeif(..)

When I set trace enable to true in my web.config file, the debug info does
not display at the "bottom" of the page, it displays "under" all of my
buttons, labels, grids etc.
This behavior happens in GridLayout, or FlowLayout.
?
Thanks,
TPS.

Hi,
I have a webform which has vb.net code behind it and I would like it to
submit the entries in the fields into a sql server db using a stored
procedure. I have a central .vb file in my application that has all the
stored proc calls in it. in the Submit_Click Sub in my form.vb file, I
reference the function in my central .vb file which calls the stored proc.
The problem that I am having is that when I submit my form, it just...

Hi,
Can anyone tell the advantages/dis-advantages of adding a listener to the
listeners collection? In MSDN it says that listeners not in the collection
do not recieve all trace output. What will be missing?

Hi,
I'm an MFC programmer and know little about .NET programming.
Now, for some reasons, I'm developing an ASP .NET application...
What I need to know is how to output into VS's Output Window like
what MFC's TRACE macro does (during debugging).
Could you please share your knowledge with me?
Thanks in advance.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
