Hi All,
I am trying to draw a picture in a panel control. It is drawing up
correctly.
When the picture size is greater than the panel control, I am expecting
horizontal and vertical scroll bars to draw up but for some reason it is not
appearing.
I have set Autoscroll = true and even the margin values for scroll but the

Hi all, I have a class (call it class A) that extends UserControl
(there is no reason that this couldn't extend Panel). I have a few
PictureBox objects in class A. When I increase the size of the
pictures in the PictureBox objects, I would also like to increase the
window, so that the scroll bars appear. For some reason none of the
following methods force the scroll bars to appear:
this.ClientSize = new Size(layout_w, layout_h);...

I have been researching this issue and have come across a number of
solutions apparently written for VB5 or 6 and don't work under .NET,
yes folks that is progress!
Someone in this ng suggested just drop your picturebox into a panel
with autoscroll=TRUE.
I am wondering if this will work for my desired application - see
details.

I’m using the Panel control that contains a PictureBox control (for
implementing the http://www.codeproject.com/cs/miscctrl/PictureBox.asp).
The Panel is set to AutoScroll = true.
I wish to scroll the appearing vertical and horizontal scrolls bars of the
Panel to the middle of their scrolling range so the contained PictureBox will
be centered inside the Panel.
But I could not find a way to get the scrolls bars for doing that.

Hello everybody!
I've a problem with MouseMove event in a C# project using Visual Studio 2005.
This is my situation: there is a PictureBox (bigger than the panel in which it is) and I want that, when the user moves his mouse over some sensible areas (that are other invisible small PictureBox), the cursor has to become a hand.
In order to realize it, I wrote this code:
private void stradario_MouseMove(object sender, MouseEventArgs...

Hi,
I programmed a windows forms application. it contains several pictureBoxes, each showing the first picture in a folder. When the mouse is over the pictureBox and you turn your mousewheel, it shows the next/prev picture.
This works fine. The picturebox is getting focus when the mouse enters and the picture changes with the wheel.
But the window is scrolling, too.
How can i prevent the window scroll when one of the pictureBoxes has...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies.
