All,
Is there a simple way to manipulate the details section of a Crystal Report
at runtime on a per-record basis?
The reason I want to do this is that my database table contains an image url
field, but in my report I have to show the image rather than its location.
I have looked for events that would be thrown when CR generates the details
section for each record but I couldn't find any and I am starting to fear

Hello all -
I'm at wits end with trying to figure out why I'm having this problem since I followed the research, that I've dug up, to a "T". I'm trying to display a JPEG image from a path directory within a Crystal Report. I created a typed dataset that is not bound to the database called dsLogo and created one field within it that has a base64binary type for the image. Once I've incorporated the dataset into the report and dropped the...

Hi Everyone
i m trying to create a crystal report that contains a picture and this
picture differs according to certain database information . the name of the
picture to be included in the report comes from the database.
the problem is that the picture can be added only in the design time ,
changing the name of the file in the run time doesnot change the contents of
the picture . it seems that the contents of the graphic object is included...

Hey I just want to know if anyone has ever tried storing a Crystal Report in
a SQL Server db.
I want to save the reports similar to how you would store a pdf. I have a
image field in the database that would store the actual file. Can you store
the .rpt file the same way and just do a BinaryWrite to view the report?
Is this possible??

the field on report it appears well but as its size is too large and when i resize it its
resolution become so wrong to can not see image. such as in Employee photo in Employee record
Actually i need a passport size photo on report. So i save a picture of this size and get...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
