I am trying to insert special characters into text of a
rich text edit box. The user should be able to press a
toolbarbutton to insert a specific character.
I have looked up RTF codes for (c) and (R) etc. and tried
the following code:
richTextBox1.SelectedRtf = @"{\rtf1\ansi \'99}";
This properly inserts a "TM" symbol in the text.

Q: How are months of a year numbered in C?
Answer makes reference to "the Standard specifies struct tm". Does the
C standard actually define struct tm, or is it Posix that defines it?

I'm using an old compiler.
Can someone tell me if there is a way to convert from a struct tm to a timeb?
Not sure how to go about it. It is a really old app I'm working with.

Is there someone outthere who used SetupPOS Ver 2.00 from Epson Expert ?
because I am facing initial hitches in using ...trivial errors with error explanations that i already have read...but cannot figure out things that i am missing bigtime.
The manual straightly put the steps but I think they have missed something or otherwise I !!

Under c90, not c99, where is the behavior
outlined for memset zeroing such an
object of this struct type? I know
under c99 you have the possibility
of creating a trap representation or
raising an implementation defined signal
but what about c90?

I've got a TM-T88IV with paralell port, also I downloaded Epson JavaPOS ADK. When I want to add my TM-T88IV there is a section where the program ask me what kind of port I am using, I want to say paralell but it doesn't have that option (only serial, usb, wired and wireless). My question is that if the TM-T88IV with paralell interface support JavaPOS?
Thanks in advance

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
