Hi,
I have date in a string format like string strDate = "110204".
Now i want to convert this string to MM/dd/yyyy format. How do i do this????
I used string.Format(strDate, "MM/dd/yyyy") but no effect. I guess i have to
convert this to date and than to string(MM/dd/yyyy). Please help.

DateTime.AddMinutes(amount) so that the string is formatted in "HH:MM"
format.
For example:
DateTime.Now.AddMinutes(30) returns "00:30"

I'd like to build a URL using String.Format
String.Format("http://server.com/page.aspx?id={0}{1:\&optionalParameter=0;&}",
id, optionalParam);
The idea is that I want to exclude the &optionalparamter=value part of the
string when optionalParam is negative.
I've tried to place nothing after the semicolon blank but that outputs
(strange?) the minus sign to the url string.

Hi, I'm maintaining C# code and am fairly new with C# programming. I'm
looking for codes that's droping the 2nd digit of a nuber printed out and I
suspect it's the code below. Can someone tell me where I can look up
explaination on the String.Format, the format string part like "("{0:.#0}".
What's the trailing 0 and what is that "0:" means? I assume the "#" is the
place holder character for th value obtain after the comma in the code.

it is because the "mystr" it is already a string.
