Connecting SQL Server 2005 to Netezza

Has anyone experience connecting (linked servers, etc) SQL Server to Netezza?

Never mind, I managed to connect. Very very very very slow, but I managed to.

How did u manage to connect SQL to Netezza?
I have a rquirement of running a Netezza procedure from SQL Server.Is it possible?

I abandoned it as it was extremely slow. But I think I just downloaded an ODBC driver and connected that way.
