KILL Command in MSSQL Databases

16 New Member
Hi,

I would like to ask your opinion or idea. I have a user who wants to have an access to kill the processes in MSSQL that blocks his process (development side), unfortunately I cannot add his user id in the "sysadmin role". Due to some company ruling for developers.

I have tried incorporating the "kill" command in a stored procedure to solve this problem unfortunately kill command doesnt except passing parameter.

Please is anyone have an idea how i can give him access to kill user process without granting him the sysadministrator role?

Thanks a lot.
