Does anyone know what microsoft means when it claims that SQL 2005 in
processor licensing mode is optimized for web use?

If you're are talking about optimizing costs it's difficult to use CALS
for an unknown number of web users?

I think they mean it is cheaper, unless your website is somehow
constrained to a very small number of users.

Whenever possible please post enough code to reproduce your problem.
Including CREATE TABLE and INSERT statements usually helps.
State what version of SQL Server you are using and specify the content
of any error messages.
