Problem:
Adding a new property for a company in the subform.
The FIRST time I Select a property in combobox CPROP_PRP_ID the subform act

1. The selected value doen't show in the combobox!
2. The sortorder of the subform changes!
Reselecting the same value in the combobox acts normal and adding gives no
problem.
Adding a second property for the same company acts normal.

Please HELP, I can't solve this problem!
All specifications below.

PROPERTY: PRP_ID, PRP_NAME, ETC.
COMPANY_PROPERT Y: CPROP_COM_ID, CPROP_PRP_ID, CPROP_VALUE

FRM_COMPANY: source = table COMPANY
SUBFRM_COMPRP:

SELECT COMPANY_PROPERT Y.CPROP_COM_ID,

COMPANY_PROPERT Y.CPROP_VALUE
FROM dbo.COMPANY_PRO PERTY INNER JOIN
dbo.PROPERTY ON
dbo.COMPANY_PRO PERTY.CPROP_PRP _ID = dbo.PROPERTY.PR P_ID
2. SubFrm: Order By = ViewComPrpsSubF rmSource.PRP_NA ME to sort by
PROPERTY.PRP_NA ME
3. SubFrm: Unique table = COMPANY_PROPERT Y

You will probably get a better response to this in an Access group, as it
seems to be more of an ADP issue than an MSSQL one.

Friends, My database has 5 different tables (tbl1, tbl2, tlb3, tbl4, and tbl5) with the same fields: ID, SSN, LNAME, FNAME, RECEIVED and CLOSED. The ID is the PK and its autonumber. Obiously different data is stored in each table according to the type of work my office handles. The database is used for a small insurance company. I have created a form on which added subforms each of which has it's

I'm stuck on something that seems should be easy and I need some help. My main form has an option group with five options. My subform chooses from different lists depending on which option is selected in the main form. I thought all I had to do for the subform was create a query and set the criteria equal to the option group value in the main form. No way, Jose! When the form/subform opens, the option group value is not available to the...

I have a form "AccountInfo" that contains company names. I have inserted a subform "Contacts" with contact names and have established parent/child relationships between the two forms. All works well. I created an "Add New Contact" command button which passes the CompanyID (unique key set to autonumber) to the new record. This successfully works if the parent record (AccountInfo) has at least one existing contact. But if there are no...

I was successful with help from another thread (this one ) in enabling and disabling a form/subform with a button. Essentially you press a button on the form and the form controls are disabled but the subform is enabled. Then there is a button on the subform that re-enables the form controls and disables the subform. This works wonderfully but now I've got two subforms. I need the new subform to disable when the form controls are disabled and...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
