UPS WorldShip SQL

i think i'm on my own here, but i figured i would drop back and throw a hail mary in hopes that someone is waiting in the endzone. i am trying to integrate my access database project with UPS WorldShip 10.0. i've used SQL Server Management Express to configure the database and view its structure and procedures. so far i've been able to set up a new SQL logon for the database with which i am able to log into the server remotely after creating a system dsn's using the sql server driver. i currently have it set up so i can view our customer database (and by gosh i can even edit them) within my access project by using ODBC and opening a table called within the default database ("upswsdb") called "dbo_calPkgAgen t". this is about as far as i have gotten but i want to be able to add new customers to the database as well (so when a new customer is added to the access database, their shipping info will be put into the database as well). whenever i add a new record through the backend, i have been unable to view the customers through the UPS worldship interface. i can make a lot of guesses, but the one thing i am sure of is that there is a procedure within one of the FIVE databases that UPS WorldShip uses to process new records so i am looking for a needle in a haystack. does anyone have any experience with WorldShip that would be kind enough to give me any pointers in this area?

i could always just add blank john doe addresses to the UPS addresses and make them into actual customers when we get new customers are added but i would prefer a clean automated process. UPS also has a batch import feature, but that could get messy as well. anyways, i would very much appreciate it if any of you have any experience with WorldShip to give me something to chew on.

A long time ago in a company far, far away :-), I set up UPS WorldShip to use an A97 query to provide up-to-date shipping label addresses using a Data Source Name (DSN) created via the ODBC Administrator. Now the shipping department at a different company that uses my BillOfLading database would like to be able to have the main form populate fields using the addresses that are stored locally within UPS WorldShip. The business addresses...

OK ... I am using UPS Worldship that issues an ODBC query to my MS2K server ... Worldship can query either a table or a view and retreive shipping info for a supplied orderid. I need to create a DB table that will track the orderids requested from Worldship so that I can stop doubleships. That is to set up a function to allow the info to be sent only once to worldship. I need to execute a stored procedure to write to a table and...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
