Stored procedure generator

I have only been into SQL Server for a few months, and written several
stored procedures. Is there a good software product available that will
generate the SQL code for a stored procedure based on a visual interface?
Any help is appreciated.

They used to advertise in SQL MAG.

I'm a stored proc guy, but a lot of people at my company use inline sql in their apps, sometimes putting the sql in a text file, sometimes hardcoding it. They don't see much benefit from procs, and say anyway they're are db specific- what if we change from SQL Server to Oracle one day? What say you experts? Is this one of those "no right...

We just went live today with a production SQL Server 2005 database running with our custom Java application. We are utilizing the jTDS open source driver. We migrated our existing application which was using InterBase over to SQL Server. To minimize the impact to our code, we created a stored procedure which would allow us to manage our...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...
