Hi
When developing vb.bet winform apps bound to sql server datasource, is it
preferable to use SELECTs or stored procedure to read and write data from/to
SQL Server? Why?

I wrote the following in the SQL Server 2005 Express Management Studio
Query Analyzer
and hit execute. Even though Query Analyzer indicated success when I
hit refresh on the stored procedure folder the procedure does not show
up in the stored procedure list. When I entered 'exec Test' I get an
error indicating that SQL Server 2005 can't find the procedure. I

I've been trying to copy tables from a linked server to a SQL Server
Express database. Express seems to have no direct/automatic way to do
it, so I've been looking into doing this by hand (i.e., with a T-SQL
procedure).
I've discovered some system stored procedures that seem relevant (like
sp_tables_ex and sp_columns_ex). But they're procedures, not
table-valued functions, so I'm not sure if I can actually do anything

that I need to move to a 'QA' environment, and then in turn, to various
production environments.
When I move these stored procedures, I would like to encrypt them,
using the 'WITH ENCRYPTION' clause.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
