I am trying to output a recordset that I have to Excel XP?
I don't know how to do it. I have the Office 10 COM
Object library reference, and I just need to know how to
take my recordset, locate the excel file, and move the
contents of the recordset to a worksheet.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
I have a T-SQL stored procedure that returns both output parameters
and a recordset. How do I retrieve them in my ASP script? As far as I
know, the ADO Command object can be used to retrieve the output
parameters, but will I be able to retrieve the recordset using the
Command object as well? Or do I have to use the Recordset object?
Example of stored procedure:

Hi,
I am currently creating an ASP page that returns a recordset of search
result based on multiple keywords. The where string is dynamically
built on the server page and that part work quite well. However I want
to also return the number of records in the recordset and I can not
manage to get any output parameter working. Even if I assign SELECT
@mycount=100 (or SET @mycount=100) in the SP the only value set in
mycount is always NULL. ...

If inside a stored procedure, there a SELECT statement to return a recordset
and another SELECT to set the value of an output parameter (as in SELECT
@OutValue = Name FROM table WHERE pkid=5), would 2 execute statements be
needed to return the OUTPUT parameter?
Like this?
adocmd.CommandTimeout = 120
adocmd.ActiveConnection = conn

I have a need for a stored procedure to return a recordset AND an output parameter that contains the count of records in the recordset.
I can get either but not both. (ie. if there is a select then there is no output parameter)
The stored procedure is:
ALTER PROCEDURE test
(
@Msgs nvarchar(150) OUTPUT
)

Me again,
I'm new to Access and am self teaching from a couple of books, so bear with
me. (I've got a little experience with Visual Basic)
As I understand so far, if I want to perform a bunch of calculations on a
set of records (not calculated fields, but doing calculations from records
to record) using Visual Basic I would first create a DAO.recordset object
with the records I want to play around with.

I am trying to return an output parameter to my code on executing a
stored procedure. In Query Analyzer, it works with no problem, but when
I run my ASP code below, the output parameter never seems to return
anything. Can anybody help?

Const adCmdStoredProc = &H0004
Const adParamInput = &H0001
Const adParamOutput = &H0002
Const adVarChar = 200

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
