Has anyone here had any experience programming for a Psion Workabout Scanner
(EPOC).
Here is my situation. I have been tasked to create a program that would
download a file from a workabout MX using a single click. (The program for
the scanner has been written)
I am using VB6 to
write the program. I am using the Psiwin Engine Ole control (pwengocx.ocx)
to make the connection between the pc and the workabout, but I cannot find

Hi,
I must read/write Psion workabout files. (.ODB).
Ik can parse the file, but have some troubles with the floats/doubles.
I must convert floats from Hex to decimal and vice versa.
For example:
"00 00 00 00 00 00 f0 3f" = 1
"00 00 00 00 00 00 00 40" = 2
"00 00 00 00 00 00 08 40" = 3

I have web document A which contains six links that all go to document B.
However, all hyperlinks must go to a different location within that document
(similar to anchors: A NAME= etc.).

I'll use the workabout to scan barcodes of equipment I get in a warehouse, and I'll put informations about those equipments in the workabout like (date, quantity, description,...). After finishing that I want to get a software to transfer those informations to my PC, as a .csv file (for exemple).
As there someone who gets a sofware or a program that can allow me to do that.

I've a Psion Teklogix WORKABOUT PRO with Windows CE .NET 4.2.
I've no GSM/GPRS module and the blueetooth one is used to connect to a GPS
receiver.
I want to connect to a Web Service:
- it's easy like for a desktop application?
- to connect to the Intranet I have to use the USB port of the docking
station, bluetooth disabling GPS or a thread for GPS ad another one for the
Intranet?
- and to connect to the Internet?

Dealer gave me PowerAPIOn.exe and PowerAPIOff.exe to turn on/off tag reader,
but I want to do it programmatically and do the same with WiFi and Bluetooth

As far as now I've been capable or turning ON/OFF:
- the RFID reader using dealer supplied
executables (PowerAPIon/off.exe)
- CF WiFi and any other expansion card
