Heya, Fairuz. Welcome to TSDN!

You're going to need some hardware if you want to be able to read RFID transponders.

What programming language will you be using to code your application?

Hey All,

What type of RFID reader I can use to just know how the RFID works..?
Where I can get information about test RFID readers which are less in Price and give me minimum functionality.. ..

I am well aware about the functionality of RFID system and want to start actual work on building application.

@diablo4303 - Sure, you need an idea of what you want to do with this system - how much information are you going to take in, what information are you going to take in, how do you want to store it, and how are you going to access it?

Something like, "I want to take in serial number, mfg number, description, size, through an RFID reader and store them in a MySQL database to be accessed through a Java interface I'm going to write".

RFID is just one part of that (as you can see). Don't focus on the minutiae when you need to get a solid grasp on the whole concept.

@chetandeshmukh 0314 - Asking your question in someone else's thread is called 'thread hijacking' and is considered extremely rude. Please don't do it again. However, if you're just looking for an intro to RFID, I'd suggest the RFID experimentation kit.

Hi all, I'm a .net developer working with developing automation equipment for the sawmill industry. The main focus of our product line is mechanical and measurement equipment but our clients start asking us for an inventory system to keep track of their produced volume. I am new to this area (all I've done so far is store production data in a SQL DB and create daily production reports). What we are asked to do is a simple inventory...

I am suppose to modify the Inventory Program so the application can handle multiple items. Use an array to store the items. The output should display the information one product at a time, including the item number, the name of the product, the number of units in stock, the price of each unit, and the value of the inventory of that product. In addition, the output should display the value of the entire inventory. • Create a method to calculate...

I cannot figure out how to add the following: Modify the Inventory Program to include an Add button, a Delete button, and a Modify button on the GUI. These buttons should allow the user to perform the corresponding actions on the item name, the number of units in stock, and the price of each unit. An item added to the inventory should have an item number one more than the previous last item. Add a Save button to the GUI that saves the...

Assignment: Modify the Inventory Program by creating a subclass of the product class that uses one additional unique feature of the product you chose (for the DVDs subclass, you could use movie title, for example). In the subclass, create a method to calculate the value of the inventory of a product with the same name as the method...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
