Hi
I have a DB2 v8.1 on AIX and DB2 Connect EE on Solaris wich is connected to
OS/390 DB2 subsystems via APPC / SNA. I have cataloged the DB2 Connect
instance as tcpip node and then the Host DB cataloged on that node...this
works from v7.2 Fixpack 11 clients and servers, but with v8.1 server I get
SQL1334N.
Does anyone has an idea?

database objects to create wrapper, even though i have update dbm cfg
using federated yes, i still get error "the instance for the db is not
enable for the specified action", do i miss sth else?

We are running DB2 UDB 8.1.6 in a partitioned environment where we have
8 physical nodes. We have a process that remotely connects to each
individual node and loads some data. By setting the DB2NODE variable
to a different value then the coordinator node is the only way I am
aware for a remote application to do this so I am making the assumption

This is driving me crazy. I get "SQL Server is unavailable or does not
exist" error while developing asp.net application in vs2003's IDE
development mode but when I install the application on the server the
error disappears and everthing seems to be ok.
The error does not appear when I connect to the same databse on the
local sql2000 server. I use the same connection string for local
WindowsXP+sql2000 server and the remote Windows 2003...

Hi all,
I created a webservice that execute a sql query on demand.
If I try to execute the query from the WebForm, all is ok.
If I try to execute the query from a normal Windows
Application, all is ok.
The WebService run correctly.. but if I try to call the
Webservice from a SmartDeviceApplication the program crash

Hi,
I am trying to execute a Remoting Code, the server object is hosted on the Web Server, I makes a call to another class file which talks to the SQL server hosted on the different server.
When I execute the Client exe it works fine, but when the encounters the connectionstring and tries to open it, it gives this error "Unable to connect to remote Server" which is the SQL server. the Internal error code is 10061.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
