Eclipse Pydev

10 New Member
Hi,
I have been experimenting with the Pydev plugin for the Eclipse IDE. I had hoped that the console would be fully interactive in the same way as the python idle.
If I write a program that has a print statement, for example, this is displayed in the console view, but what if I want to initiate a new class and check that it is working correctly which will involve actually typing in some code to see what values are returned etc.?

Thanks,
Tim
