Thank you once again for any and all assistance. I'm building an application that's getting quite bulky due to the number of forms, macros and procedures. I was wondering if there's a way to use 1 (one) unbound form, if all the fields are the same for multiple forms populating them with Queries? I have a makeshif menu form with command buttons and I would like to eliminate all the forms and replace them with one unbound form for three...

Hello together, I tried to find out about populating an asp.net server control (a dropdownlist) from the clientside jscript, but I didn't find a solution up to now. I cannot use a html dropdownlist, because a database query in codebehind has to be done, when a new listItem is selected. So, I need to use a servercontrol dropdownlist. Now to my problem:

Hi, I have built an Access database that links to tables on a SQL server through an ODBC connection. One of my users is having a problem with his forms. None of the values specified in the "default value" property are populating in any comboboxes on his forms. I checked with some of my other users, and no one else seems to be having the issue. He is running Access 2003 SP1. Has anyone heard of this before? Thanks, Josh

The first 7 have to do with respondent information like grade, class and age. I have those in a table with a PK of RespondentId, which is autonumbered. Questions 8-40 all have the same format. For these questions I have a table set up with the...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
