IDE (on Linux) and books to learn.

Hi, I'm using SPE (Stani's Python Editor)

It works very good and incorporates WX support.

You may get more help in c.l.python about book choice by explaining to
readers what is your computer science knowledge level, and what is the
domain of this big program (text processing, network, GUI...).
