Is there some way to make a table have alternating colors for rows when
you're generating the table data with a WHILE statement?
You know, row 1 has a gray BG, row 2 is white, row 3 is gray, 4 is white,
etc, for as long as there's data.
Here's what I'm using right now:
$query_RSwho = "SELECT * FROM tbl_indv ORDER BY name ASC";

Hi to all,
could you please help me with this issue? I'd like to have the rows of a VB6
ADO grid bound to a db painted with an alternate background and foreground
colors. I'd like to have the odd rows with a x color and the even rows with
a y color. What kind of grid do I have to use? And how can I do it?
Moreover, I'd like to choose custom colors for the selected rows as
well.Usign the DBgrid control I can't.

I want to produce colors in alternate rows in the table.
The following will produce blue color on every row. So my problem is to figure
out to count the records. If it is odd record, then do <tr bgcolor="blue">,
otherwise, don't do anything, and it will output colors in alternate
rows. I tried to use count, but doesn't work.
Any ideas? Please advise.

TIA! I would like to know if there is a way to dynamically change the
colors of Subform items? I have already set in place Conditional
Formatting so each row has an alernating color scheme, but what I am
looking for is a way <behind a button click event> to dynamically
change the Subform's color scheme so the listing can have color
choices. Is this even possible?

Are there any add-on products or samples available that can do the following
in an vb.net datagrid
I want to compare 2 rows in a datagrid - one row from one database and
another row for another database.
So all the even rows would be from database one.
All the odd rows would be from database two.
Row one and two will have different formats and colors.

Can the Windows datagrid in VS.Net '05 have rows of different colors? I'm
trying to build an Outlook-style scheduler and I need to emulate the Calendar
so that the rows change colors based on the appointments I've made (i.e. a
row with no appointment has a different color than a row with a scheduled
appointment).

I'm making admin forms. I'm wondering if there is a way to have the server
programmatically assign alternating colors in a regular table (not a
datalist control). I notice ASP.NET 2 offers a runat="server" attribute on
tables, leading me to believe that this should be possible.
Any ideas? I'm using C#.

Searching the net I've found a simple technique to add row numbers and alternate colors (for the even and the uneven row) to a continuous form.
1st step: Create a textbox, send it to background and select the first color.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
