I have downloaded the tftpy-0.4.3 which have the TftpClient module and other good stuff, but I do not not know how to go about using python to connect to Tftp server

Thank in advance for any help in pointing me in the right direction to get this thing started.

First off I'd like to ask if anyone knows of a multi-threaded Open Source TFTP Server class written in C#? I don't really want to re-invent the wheel but after searching the net for sometime I haven't been able to find an existing TFTP Server class that provides read and write functionality. As an existing class hasn't been found I've started to write my own and wanted to seek the groups opinion.

I'd like to use XSV for validating an XML file in Python. I am working on Linux Debian platform. I'm not sure how to install XSV and how to configure it. My goal is to be able to import the XSV library in Python and be able to use it's functions. XSV v2.10 for Debian available here: ftp://ftp.cogsci.ed.ac.uk/pub/XSV/XSV_2.10-1_all.deb How do i do that?

This is a simple walkthrough to get PyInstaller up and running. I decided to give PI a try, because it claims to be more selective about what it bundles into its executable files by default, and it also integrates UPX (Ultimate Packer for eXecutables) into the build process, if you have it installed. It also claims functionality on linux, as a bonus (I didn't test this). I highly recommend the UPX options, and will cover how to get it...

Hi, First of all sorry for the double post - this is on the Python page too, but as far as I can see this is an Apache issue now. Mods - feel free to delete the similar titled posts from me on Python, if this is the case (can't seem to do it myself!). Anyway, I'm running a CGI script written in python that tars up the photos in user selected directories (via a form). It's running on Apache 1.3.31.1 on Solaris 5.8. It works well for a...

Can we open up the discussion here about how to improve setuptools which has become the de facto standard for distributing / installing python software. I've been playing around with ruby's gems which seems to be more more mature and usable. From my perspective, the relative immaturity of setuptools and its simultaneous widespread use is a clear python weakness and can make python less easy to absorb than it should be. A few...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
