Hi Gurus,
I want to build a Python web app but im not sure which one to go for. I
prefer something like asp.Net , which would allow me to fully seperate
the presentation layer from the logic. Please advise?
thanks,

Hi, I've been reading the above-titled book and it looks like some major
Python and Zope features have been cherry-picked for pushing down into .NET,
like application memory management (Python interpreter), and prefabricated
website user management (Zope).
I know that these didn't originate with Python and Zope, and also that .NET
adds extra Microsoft-specific goodies. However, the real possibility is that
the Microsoft-centricity of...

Hello,
I'm attempting to determine what paths I would need on a
win32, Linux, OSX box to run python. This should be a vanilla python
with no extra packages (including tk). The paths I have beneath are
what I think I need, excluding the lib\site-packages entry.
The questions that I have are two fold:
1. Is this correct does anyone know if there is something I've missed out?
2. Does python _need_ the...

Hi fellow python enthusiasts.
Having recently acquired a MacBook Pro (Intel Core 2 Duo) which comes
with python2.5, I have been installing some modules that I need (PIL,
psycopg2, PyXML ...).
The problem is that compiles all the binaries
to universal files for i386 and ppc32, but not x86_64 or ppc64. It
does not appear to be a problem when running scripts from the shell
(as python seems to run as a 32 bits problems), but it is a...

Hi All,
I have been developing websites in classic asp using VB script for a
long while now. Due to the fact that I also took a detour to
developing ColdFusion, and the fact the companies I work(ed) for never
had time or money for courses, I am now in the awkward position that I
am -still- developing classic ASP.
In it, I have become quite resourceful, I wrote a framework using WSC
(windows scripting components) to separate logic from...

I'm having trouble with tkinter on a new installation of Python (2.6),
built with the framework option from source that was downloaded from
python.org. I'm running OS 10.4 on a PowerPC G4.
The problem first arose when I tried to run matplotlib - it couldn't
find tcl/tk because it was searching for 8.5, and I had 8.4. I found
and built tcl/tk 8.5, which led to a new error, reproduced below:

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
