I'm trying in vain to set the icon for the executable generated
by py2exe. According to various sources there are two answers:
1) Do it on the command line:
python setup.py py2exe --icon foo.ico
That generates a usage error:
error: --icon not recognized

I would like to change our web site to show the products using a catalog

MS have a free template called "ecommercesdk". Though I don't need the cart
side, the database format looks good.
I tried to run the application from VB.NET 2003 but could not load the
program (Kept asking for URL to web based application and I typed in the
http://localhost/... but it kept advising same error.

How would you go about doing this
I have a tree view which where anything is a parent it is a folder (folder
icon, and the tag for the object is a string that says "FOLDER:{name of
folder here}") then each folder has items in it and possibly more folders.
The root node also has items on it that are not folders... but default
sorting sorts by name, so folders do not show up on top. pretty much
anything that has children are to show on top...

C# (and possibly VB.NET) in VS2005 can be a bit tricky.
Here's my little rundown:
Add an icon file to your project (new or exisiting, whichever)
Open the icon file is VS and edit as desired.
(Note: On the left hand side is a small preview of the icon, extra sizes can be added to the SAME icon file there as well as cycling through existing sizes by using the Image menu.)

I created custom toolbar icons that look and function similar to the
standard MS Access Fill/Back Color and Fill/Fore Color toolbar icons.
My custom icons call a function that uses the Terry Kreft and Stephan
Lebans 'aDialogColor' function. I modified the function slightly to

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
