Has anyone used davlib by Greg Stein?

Hi!

I want to PUT files to a authenticated https WebDAV server from within a python script. Therefore I put "python dav" into google, and the davlib module by Greg Stein (and Guido?) came up. It seems to be soild but has very little docs. Has anyone worked with this? Is it any good? Where can I find some good docs for it?

Thanks for your time!

Cheers!

I don't know any documentation for it.
But I know that there is another DAV lib around at
http://www.infrae.com/download/pydavclient

It is also not fully documented but might fit your needs.

I'll take the palpable silence as a "no" then. :-)

Thank's anyway!

I just added a "Testimonial Letters" page for our band's web site. On a whim, I decided to try using a drop cap to start each paragraph. I looked up how to do it on someone's web site. His example looked good, but had a lot of "pixel sized" elements. I'm no expert, but I don't like when pages go haywire on different browsers, or with different text sizes. So I blundered around changing the stylesheet parameters. Here's what I came up...

Hullo Just like to check whether anyone has tried RentACoder. I intend to farm out a small job that must use C#, WinForms, ADO.Net for around US$400, but don't know whether RentACoder is reliable. Any views anyone? BTW, I am not from United States but from a small country on the other side of the globe.

I am working on a project to build a reporting web app from an exsiting database that is controled by a local application. The application that has control over the database creates a lock file to the database and at that point I can no longer access the database with my web app. Is there anyway around this? All I need is read only access to the database to get some report information to display on the web page. The error I get on the...

I'm trying to figure out a regular expression that will match the innermost tag and the contents in between. Specifically, the string that I am attempting to match looks as follows: ....<table>...<table>...>Final<...</table>...</table>... I want to match: <table>...>Final<...</table> from this example. The string could also, of course, look like the following:

Hi, I am developing Pocket PC application in VB.NET. Within the application we are using web services developed by outsourced team. They developed the services in C#. After adding a web reference to web services in my Pocket PC app, I am not able to compile Smart device solution. The same web services are used by web application and they work fine there.

I'm a Tcl/Tk developer who has been working, slowly, at learning Python, in part because Python has better support for certain kinds of applications that I want to develop than Tcl/Tk does. Naturally, I thought that I would use Tkinter as the GUI for these programs. However, in doing research into GUI development techniques, sample code, and showcase applications, what has struck me is how little sophisticated GUI development seems to be...

I need to create a COM object (in C#) that both has methods a client can call and events that a client can receieve. The client will be written i C++. I have already made it possible to call methods (setting ComVisible, using GAC og regasm), but I have no solution for the events. What is the best way of doing this? I have been looking at IDispatch and IConnectionPoint, but I can not find any runnable examples that shows me a...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
