I am writing a program to do some reliability calculations that
require several nested for-loops. However, I believe that as the
models become more complex, the number of required for-loops will
increase. Does Python have a limit on the number of nested for-loops?
Thanks.

I have a view that contains the following SQL1 and it takes about 500ms
to run with Explain Plan EXP1. However, if I add an order by
clause(e.g. select * from view1 order by ID desc), it will then take
about 3 mins to return. The explain plan for the query with the order
by clause is as follows (EXP2).
The explain plan 2 shows that there is no changes to the index
selection except adding the "Sort Order by" step. The total number of...

Hello,
I have a large array of pointer to some object. I have to run test
such that every possible pair in the array is tested.
eg. if A,B,C,D are items of the array,
possible pairs are AB, AC, AD, BC and CD.
I'm using two nested for loop as below, but it is running very slow
whenever I access any data in the second loop.

Hi All,
how can I improve the query performance in the following situation:
I have a big (4.5+ million rows) table. One query takes approx. 9 sec to
finish resulting ~10000 rows. But if I run simultaneously 4 similar queries
it takes nearly 5 minutes instead of 4 times 9 seconds or something near of
that.
here is a sample query:
select mertido, fomeazon, ertektipus, mertertek from t_me30 where fomeazon
in (select distinct fomeazon...

Hello.
I am working my way through Zhang's "Teach yourself C in 24 hrs (2e)"
(Sam's series), and for nested loops, he writes (p116) "It's often
necessary to create a loop even when you are already in a loop." Then he
goes on to portray a contrived example that doesn't tell me under what
conditions a nested loop might be favoured as a solution? i.e. what are
nested loops useful for? What kinds of algorithms are served by nested
loops?...

Hello All,
I have an performance issue, where a query which is executed at the client place which is retrieving 370 records is taking around 10 minutes, Where as the same query which is executed here in our development servers is retrieving 1300 odd records in less than 4 minutes.
I checked the client place for Indexes and rebuilt all the indexes as the tables that were used were major tables. I also had a look into the tablespaces which...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

The next Access Europe User Group meeting will be on Wednesday 1 May 2024 starting at 18:00 UK time (6PM UTC+1) and finishing by 19:30 (7.30PM).
In this session, we are pleased to welcome a new presenter, Adolph Dupré who will be discussing some powerful techniques for using class modules.
He will explain when you may want to use classes instead of User Defined Types (UDT). For example, to manage the data in unbound forms.
Adolph will...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
