Does anyone know how to resolve the following problem that I'm getting in
Python 2.2 and 2.3?
PROBLEM: When I try to create a classReader object I get an exception:
"SAXReaderNotAvailable: No parsers found". This only happens when I run the
..EXE; it does not happen if I run the .PY file. When I'm running the .EXE
this exception doesn't happen immediately. It happens as soon as I try to
create a classReader object.
Please see the...

Hi All,
Has anybody had an issue with compatiblity between XML files between
python 2.3 and python 2.4.
I have PyXML 0.8.3 installed in ClearCase and it is shared between
Solaris and Windows.
Here is an example on my system:

Hi!
Anyone in for a Byzantine discussion on XML well-formedness?
Here's the situation: test.xml contains

I'm writing a Python program that does some XML parsing, though nothing
heavy, and I want to avoid requiring the user to install additional
libraries like PyXML.
The documentation for my version of Python (2.3.5) mentions PyXML as an
additional library while discussing the DOM module
<http://www.python.org/doc/2.3.5/lib/module-xml.dom.html>. I don't seem
to have PyXML installed on my system, but:
>>> import xml.dom.minidom

Hi,
I have to say I am confused about the documentation on pyxml.sf.net.
When I want to use DOM, I effectively am using a class called Sax2? ^^
I also have to catch SAXExceptions, which reside in xml.sax._exceptions.
I thought DOM and SAX are two completely different things. Why is PyXML
mixing them up like this?
Thanks,

Hi, c.l.p.'ers-
I am having a problem with the import of xml.parsers.expat that has
gotten me completely stumped. I have two programs, one a PyQt program
and one a command line (text) program that both eventually call the
same code that imports xml.parsers.expat. Both give me different
results...
The code that gets called is (print statements have been added for
debugging):

Hi there,
I am struggling to write a piece of code that would parse a simple
xml file. I was wondering if there are good example (pattern?) to use
when dealing with nested xml elements.
For instance my xml looks like (*), with only one level of nesting.
AFAIK I need to do the book keeping myself esp. when reading the
CharacterData so that it is associated to the correct entry.

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
